Lilyan Levant joined Golden Apple in October 2007. She most recently served as senior development manager at the Environmental Law & Policy Center in Chicago. Levant previously served as sales director for the Chicago Reader for nine years. Earlier, Levant worked in sales management positions at WTTW/Chicago Public Television and the Los Angeles Times. Levant serves on the board of Safer Pest Control Project, an organization that is dedicated to reducing the health risks and environmental impacts of pesticides and promoting safer alternatives. She earned a bachelor's degree in journalism at the University of Missouri.
