May/June’s Best Practice is for all math teachers, especially new teachers who need a good step-by-step model for lesson plans or those interested in integrating engaging technology into their lessons. Roz is a wiz at using interactive technology, including clickers and mobi boards. The attached lesson can be used especially by 8th and 9th grade algebra teachers when teaching linear equations or as a review or introduction when teaching solving systems. If teachers are not familiar or do not have access to this technology, Roz suggests other alternatives in her lesson plan. Roz says: “If teachers are interested in seeing a demonstration of the technology, contact Katie Reel of CIM Technology 317-340-4500.”
