Thomas Edison Regional Gifted Center | Chicago
Each school day in classroom 217 is an adventure and Crame’s fourth grade students are the characters in the stories they are writing. Through collaboration and teamwork, his students learn that together they can solve anything. Each lesson includes an individual performance rubric which students use to evaluate how they are responding to the assignment and what they need to change in order to make improvements. Personalized and responsive learning is at the core of everything in room 217 and his students respond to the relevance of each project with overwhelming enthusiasm. Crame works daily to build a community of students, teachers, and parents who are striving to achieve excellence together.
